The Taipei Twins logo design system consists of the basic design elements of the graphic logo, English and Chinese character logos, standard colors and recommended fonts. By combining and displaying these elements, visual unity is achieved and a visual image is formed. The logo embodies the shape of the Twin Star Building and at the same time symbolizes the vibrant pulse of the city. The Twin Star Building is a symbolic building, and the focus of the planning and design was not only on the architectural features, but also on reproducing the vibrancy and sense of movement of the Taipei city. In addition to the building and the pulsating form, the logo is characterized by a flowing and dynamic light that conveys a glittering and glamorous impression of the city.

Michael Duncan is a design partner in SOM's San Francisco office. He has extensive experience designing national and international projects including major municipal, commercial, residential, corporate and business complexes, transportation centers, theaters, infrastructure and universities. His projects have pioneered detailed and pioneering solutions to the issues of environmental responsibility and sustainability. He believes that musical and craft architecture, with its dedication to quality and unwavering attention to detail, has a unique ability to inspire.

Rediscovering the connection with nature and creating a city blueprint for coexistence and co-prosperity - Taipei Oasis Vision. Taiwan is blessed with a unique geographic environment, with nearly 4,000 meters of dramatic topographic relief on the island, and a rich diversity of forests, ranging from high-elevation fir forests, mid-elevation broadleaf forests, and riverfront species. It is hoped that through an urban forest, the city will demonstrate the symbiosis of nature and provide a place to relax in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the busy city.
