The Taipei Twin Star C1/D1 Development Building, which is located at the "Gateway to the Nation and Capital Landmark", will be in full swing after the column erection ceremony held on November 14, 2023, and will become the most crucial hub in the center of Taipei City in the future. The MRT Bureau further pointed out that the C1/D1 development building is under continuous construction, and this year will gradually carry out the steel structure lifting in the construction area, tower crane assembly and other operations, and we look forward to seeing the completion of the two skyscraper towers, the Taipei Promenade, and the multi-functional garden balcony one by one as soon as possible.
The MRT Board said that after the construction of the C1/D1 development building began last year, in order to share the critical moment of the "10,000-feet-high building rising from the ground," the Board used the image of the first steel girder being lifted up and symbolized the milestone of this day, and started to use a time-lapse video to bring people to feel the throb of the growth of the C1/D1 building.
The MRT Bureau said that the C1 building is 55 stories high, the D1 building is 74 stories high, with 6 railroad co-structuring advantage, and can be linked to the Beimen, Dadaocheng old city area common cultural life circle, it is estimated that after the completion of the use of 16,000 jobs can be provided to create hundreds of billions of dollars of economic output value above. The MRT Bureau said it hopes that the construction of the C1/D1 development building will boost the surrounding living area and create a new look for the city of Taipei under the integration of technological advancement and historical heritage.
